WREJ Nominated for Stellar Award   - December 14, 2006

CONGRATULATIONS, WREJ has been selected as a finalist in the 2007 Stellar Radio Station Of The Year Award and announced November 30, 2006 at the Stellar Awards Press Reception in Nashville, TN.

The Stellar Awards and its academy (SAGMA) have chosen to continue to pay tribute to Gospel radio’s role in the delivery of Gospel music by acknowledging some of the radio stations who have helped foster the steady increase in the appetite for gospel music via a salute to four (4) gospel music radio stations in the categories of Major (3 million and above), Large (1-3 million), Medium (500,000-1 million) and Small (under 500,000) markets. BASED ON YOUR STATION’S 2005 MARKET IMPACT YOUR STATION IS A 2007 NOMINEE FINALIST.

Don Jackson, CEO of Central City Productions, producer of the Stellar Awards tapped Al Hobbs, Chairman of the National Gospel Announcers Guild of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc., to coordinate the Stellar Radio Station of the Year Awards. Your nomination was a result of his committee’s hard work and determination to select 2006’s “best of the industry.” They are proud to congratulate you and your station.
