Davidson Media sells its publishing and promotions firm to focus on radio  - November 13, 2006

Peter Davidson bought a majority stake in LatCom Communications last year — in part because its events and promotions business looked like a good fit with Davidson’s radio portfolio. But Davidson tells Inside Radio that “at the end of the day it wasn’t that connected to what we do.” Particularly its English-language magazines targeting second-generation Hispanics on college campuses. So Davidson’s selling LatCom to the fast-growing Miami-based website operator Batanga for an undisclosed sum.
